As we see more and more tragic events unfold before our eyes on CNN and other media sources, we should all be mindful of how precious life is and how family members should be embraced more frequently, your spouse kissed more and told how much you care and love him/her because life is short.

Live life to the fullest each and every moment of the day. Life is too short! Make it count!

Spring is here and so is the new boating season! Don't forget to Wear your Life Jackets and operate your boat with Caution as many of our lakes are extremely low due to the Texas Drought. What was safe to run at speed last year may hold some unwelcome hidden surprises just beneath the water like tree stumps, old tires, shopping carts, etc. BE SAFE!

Ah! I remember those by-gone days of sailing my 26' Sloop, before I had grey hair.

This New Year has got to be better than last year. Just the fact that God didn't drop a space rock, the size of Texas on us as December 21st 2012closed is proof enough that the Mayan Doom believers were idiots to think was going to end.

In the shadow of yesterday's heinous act of what can only be described as an iniquitous minded act directed to the innocents that are now in Heaven with God; my and I'm sure everyone else's heart is broken to what must be the ultimate sadness a human soul can fathom, especially now in the light of the celebration of the Holy Holidays. Human history is a seemingly endless succession of bloody conflicts, hatred, oppression, sorrow  and devastating turmoil. Yet, inexplicably, in the light of astonishing intellectual and technological advancement, Man's progress has been halted once again in all of these behaviors by still indulging the primitive beast within to kill innocents by the scores by what ever means is available be-it bombs, guns, automobiles, hi-jacketed air planes, etc. for the simple reason that he can. 

Make note however and do not forget my friends, that hundreds of innocent children and their families are killed every week in our country by domestic quarrels, terrorism &  drivers under the influence. These drivers with a history of DUI's are allowed to continue driving by the very laws set down to protect us. Where is all the lucidity & common sense we as twenty-first century denizens are supposed to have? My most profound condolences to all those grieving their losses.

Someone at Adidas thought it would be cute to have shackles on their sneakers. Then some dumb-asses thought these "Adidas Slave-Chain Sneakers" were hurtful and insensitive towards their feelings! Poor babies!

I think its about time someone put real shackles on sneakers to hobble some of these irresponsible consumer morons' screaming kids that are running around super markets destroying food products in the refrigerated meat bins and driving everyone in the store crazy (except for their tuned-out parents). 

In the time wasted by these idiots to post their hurt feelings on the net - 3 - 5 American Military Service personnel have either been killed of severely injured, another family in this country went without a meal, an innocent child was hurt or killed in a house fire; - and these imbeciles are raging and moaning over some ridiculous toy fad shoes ? ...Really?
